Imagine how your iPod must feel, sitting on the floor while you plug it in to charge. I mean, you wouldn't want to sleep and eat on the floor, would you? What about your cell phone, or your PDA? Do you think they'd enjoy it any more? Well now your portable devices can rest and charge up in the lap of luxury with the Load Thing, something of a charging hammock that can keep your devices safe and comfortable while they're filling up on juice.
Seriously though, the Load Thing is a good idea. It keeps your outlets clean and free of tangled wires, and offers you a place to put your portable devices while they charge up where you won't lose them and they won't get walked on. And if you have spare outlets that aren't near tables or safe places to rest your delicate electronics, the Load Thing can keep your electronics safe while they charge. It's white plastic on the outside and definitely looks like a tiny hammock. The inside, however, can be your choice of red, black, or pink soft fabric. Simply fold the Load Thing around the device it'll support, then plug the charger through the back of the Load Thing and into the wall outlet. The Load Thing will support the device's weight and keep it comfortable while both it and you sleep easy. It's available for just under 10 Euros, the equivalent of about $13. [ via Popagadget ]
