It's hard to imagine being 100-years old when I'm only in my mid-20s; but if I'm lucky enough to live that long, I hope that I'll still be physically capable of listening to songs on my iPod and playing the Wii!
Evercare, a division of UnitedHealthcare, interviewed 100 adults who were 99-years old or older. Believe it or not, centenarians are keeping up with today's technology and entertainment. The survey found that:
31-percent have watched a reality TV show
27-percent have watched MTV or music videos
24-percent have bought a music CD
1 in 7 have played a video game
6-percent have been on the Internet
4-percent have listened to music on an iPod
Plus, 9-percent have eaten sushi and 11-percent have ordered coffee at Starbucks. So the next time you call a centenarian "too old", you're seriously mistaken! [via Evercare Press Release]
