While this gadget is aimed at parents with children, I can completely see the use for the Digital Bath Spout Cover in households with bathers of all ages. The idea behind the product is to keep tiny hands and feet from getting burned when a child steps into a tub full of hot water. You can use the digital display on the spout cover to make sure you won't scald your hand while testing the water temperature, and to adjust the temperature to an acceptable level while the bath fills. The display has large numbers and the colors make it easy to tell the temperature range--when the display is blue the water is cold, when it's green the water is about right, and red is too hot.
Personally, I think a digital display like this one can add a bit of luxury to the bathtubs of childless bath-lovers as well as keep small children safe, but I can see why it might be an essential for parents hoping bathtime can be fun and not an opportunity to test your burn-care skills. It's available now for just under $31. [via Crave ]

Nice product. I blog about other child safety prodcuts, and provide home safety tips.
