Okay, well maybe not smarter than you, but these "ultra-adaptable" rooms have definitely got bragging rights over the average totally un-tech abode. Each suite comes equipped with a Plug-In Panel that automatically detects almost any device you attach--from MP3 players and digital cameras to notebook PCs and DVD players--and a 32-inch widescreen LCD display. (What's more the display has split-screen capability so you can view your computer screen and cable TV simultaneously.)
And, unlike your home TV, there are no input selections to make; the panel and display detect what you've plugged in (much like using a USB port on your PC) and adjusts its settings accordingly.
Compatible input types include: component audio/video, s-video, digital video, and PC-video along with 4 power outlets and phone and Ethernet jacks. I can't help but notice, though, the glaring lack of USB inputs, which, at least for me, is how I connect my digital camera and iPod to just about anything. Hmmmm.
Aside from that the rooms are pretty well stocked and designed with contemporary furniture and photography. There's even a drawer safe with an embedded socket to charge your valuables while you store them.
As of now, 20 Marriot hotels and resorts (all properties soon) are equipped with "Plug-In" rooms for tech-savvy travelers. Find one or take a virtual tour at Marriott.com.

Yeah, I noticed the lack of USB ports too, but on their website they say that you can use and charge your mp3 player at the same time. Either they do have USB ports or they got scrapped at some point. Either way its interesting that USB ports made it into the copy (Look at the music/mp3 player part of that site).
