What do you keep in your basement? Well, if you were Jeremy Mehrle, 29, your basement would house 101 computers. Through the years, Mehrle has used eBay to build up his collection of Mac, Commodore, Tandy, Atari and IBM computers, including the original Macintosh with 128 KB of memory and the 20th-anniversary Mac from 1997. Most of the time, he buys the computers for around $10, since they're obsolete. His girlfriend threatens that for every computer he continues to collect, she will get a pet.
Mehrle doesn't just keep his computers for display. He also runs them for guests to see with 20-amp circuits. "When friends stop by, they can play old-school games like 'StarCraft' on machines networked together. For special events, like New Year's Eve, he'll play videos on several monitors or set up strobe effects on multiple machines, creating a rave-like atmosphere," reports Fox News. Even more, "his bar is made out of 30 Mac Classics arranged next to and on top of each other," but guests never drink at the bar for some reason. The only place in his home that doesn't have a computer? His bathroom, of course! [via Fox News]; Photo Courtesy AP

AWESOME, I'd love to have the space, time, and money to do that!
