Flash Memory Vending MachinesSnacks and iPods aren't the only things you can buy from a vending machine. Today, Kingston Technology is selling a range of flash memory products--including SD cards and DataTraveler USB Drives--in MyMemory Digital Memory Vending Machines. The industry's first flash memory vending machine is located at the North Terminal in Gatwick Airport in London.

Other companies to join New Jersey-based MyMemory are SanDisk, Olympus, Sennheiser, and Uniross. The vending machines are said to operate using chip and pin card transactions. Look for more memory vending machines in the south terminal of Gatwick Airport, the London Heathrow, and many mainline central London train stations coming soon.
