Apparently, chip giant Intel is a fan of TLC's show "American Chopper." So much that it commissioned the Orange County Chopper team to build a high-tech Intel motorcycle. The custom-built motorcycle was launched simultaneously in the Internet-based virtual world of Second Life.
The 250-horsepower bike is packed with a Quad-Core Intel Xeon to handle such computing tasks as fingerprint recognition for security, a digital dashboard with ignition control, digital gauges, cameras that replace rear-view mirrors, integrated audio and video systems, GPS navigation, and wireless connectivity. You can watch the OCC team build this high-tech chopper on a two-part series to air July 12th and 19th.
