I've always tried to do my best to help the environment. Sure, I may forget to turn off the light when I exit a room, and I sometimes take long showers. But, I always make sure I recycle and turn off the computer when not in use.
If you're not sure how to make the planet a more energy efficient and eco-safe place, hopefully my roundup of the top 10 Eco-Friendly Gadgets over at PCMag.com can help. For starters, there's the Brunton SolarRoll ($199-$479): a flexible solar panel that can be used to charge your cell phone, digital camera, or even a car battery! Designed by Brunton, SolarRoll comes in three models that produce three different outputs: 4.5, 9, and 14 watts. Plus, it's even waterproof! Then, there's the USBCell ($19.50): a NiMH battery which contains a built-in USB connector and charger. Just plug it into a USB port, and the battery will charge in five hours. Check out the rest of the list, just in time for Earth Day!
