While listening to your favorite music, or catching up on an episode of LOST on your iPod may be relaxing ways to pass the time, there are other moments when you need to review a Word or PDF document. If you can't actually read them, you can listen to them instead. MagneticTime has introduced iAudoizie for Mac users (PC version also available). For $39.99, this program transforms Word, PDF and Pages documents, as well as e-mails into an MP3 format that can be played back on your iPod. The compressed files take up less space than typical MP3 files, and you can even listen to playback from your desktop. The software uses natural voices, so you don't have to feel like some 1970's b-movie robot is reading to you either.
