It's hard to say goodbye to an old friend, especially if it's a format that's given you so much in the form of cellular broadband, wireless networking, video, audio and memory expansion. But time goes on, people move apart and technology progresses. However, the new Dual Adapter lets you get the most out of those PCMCIA cards by adapting them to work in an ExpressCard compatible format.

The Dual Adapter fits into 34mm or 54mm ExpressCard slots and works with standard 32-Bit CardBus cards and 16-Bit PCMCIA cards. It also sports a data transfer rate up to the ExpressCard maximum but is limited by the PCMCIA card application. The Dual Adapter has a suggested retail price of $119 but you can get it for $99 if you order before March 31st, making it cheaper to keep in contact old friends - even if they don't write back.

Very nice. I wonder if there are any other such devices out there - my MBP and my ExpressCard slot are kind of lonely, even though more and more ExpressCard devices are appearing on the market.

They touted it as the first of it's kind in the industry so those devices may have to play nice by themselves for a bit...but hopefully not too long.
