For all you cell phone fanatics out there, there are plenty of choices: the Razr, the Crazr, Treo and the Chocolate. And let's not forget the soon-to-be released Apple iPhone. But to really make a personal statement, now there's the Pantone phone.
Yes, the company that's known as the world-renowned authority on color and the provider of color systems has jumped into the mobile phone craze. Pantone is offering customers the SoftBank 812SH by Sharp in 20 different shades, based on its color chart. You can sport anything from a mellow tone of grey, black, beige or white, or show your true colors with some more lively shades of vivid pink, red, purple, orange or green.
The Pantone phone is more than just a color statement, though. It offers a PC site browser to access the Internet, as well as a camera and music player, as some of its features. For now, the phones are available primarily in Japan.
