This week on Gearlog Radio, we talk about the Apple TV: what it does, how it works, and whether or not you should get one. What will the future hold for technology? We don't have a clue, but Cade Metz, senior writer of PC Magazine does. He comes on to give us the scoop on the kinds of technologies you're likely to see at some point, including the Petal Server: a home server, shaped like a frisbee, that seamlessly syncs with handheld PCs.
On the second half, we bring on Appscout President Kyle Monson to find out why we should care about Microsoft's OneCare. (Did you know that this security package likes to eat your e-mail?!?!) And what are all of those R2-D2 mailboxes doing in NYC and San Fran? We'll tell you what we think is brewing for the 30th anniversary of Star Wars. But wait--that's not it! Our intern Andre is going to reveal this week's Weird Gear by singing about it!
