When all else fails in product marketing, tap royalty to push your product. If they're not available, see if you can sidle up to someone who played royalty on the screen so well, that she won every acting award imaginable.
I have yet to see anyone on a train or plane wearing ezVision Video Glasses, which when you connect them to your iPod with Video create a virtual 50-inch display in front of your eyes, but now I've seen then in the hands of Academy Award-winning actress Helen Mirren.
For those living under a rock, Mirren won her award for her spot-on portrayal of Britain's Queen Elizabeth grappling with an unhappy sovereignty during the tumultuous period following Princess Diana's death. Now the brilliant actress apparently plans on trying out the ezVision goggles on her next transatlantic flight. She got up-close-and-personal with the video gadget at the "Oscars Gift Suite," presumably a swag suite for the stars who already have everything, but somehow do not yet have these gadgets.
The photo above proves eVision manufacturer ezGear isn't making this stuff up. If anyone sees Mirren actually wearing these things on a flight, please give us a shout..
