File under the "Slide Rule Format" Dept.": A fairly new California-based company, started by Erik Sowder, president of Expoimaging, Inc, has introduced a low-tech device that I think is pretty cool. It's called ExpoAperture2 Depth-of-field guide, and attempts to help you get an accurate read on how much or how little you will have in focus in your picture depending on your camera's sensor size and the aperture setting you want to use. It's what is generally referred to as Depth of Field. The nice thing is it's very portable and fairly easy to use. It also comes with a CD-ROM with a PDF manual and other info, a quick start guide, and more. For more, check out the company's website.
