I get real cranky when I miss my favorite shows. Sure, I could invest in a TiVo-like recorder, or even watch it online afterwards but sometimes I wish I could take my satellite TV with me. DirecTV has heard my silent plea for help and is set to release the DirecTV Sat-Go. As long as your okay with carrying around a hefty-looking briefcase, inside you'll have everything needed to enjoy the same quality satellite programming that was normally restricted to the home.
A 17" LCD screen, AC/DC power adaptors, digital quality picture and sound and a rechargeable battery make up the DirecTV Sat-Go package. With TV service on cell phones not quite where we'd like them to be, this is the next best solution to watching TV on the go. Of course, the user would still need to be in range of a DirecTV signal though and it's not very reasonable to think you'd lug this around on a morning commute. However, if you are taking a trip to the in-laws and don't want to get stuck in front of an aging television or you find yourself in a hotel room that doesn't even carry HBO, it'd be nice to whip out the Sat-Go and have your entire DirecTV selection available.
