chrome-razr.jpg A little poking around the Motorola booth at CTIA showed a few interesting things: the RAZR XX, one of my favorite phones ever, in both chrome (left) and pink, for one thing. I'm loathe to encourage Moto to just churn out more multicolored RAZRs, but in this case the XX actually is a leap forward in technology, so I'll let them do three or four before I get bored.

They also announced pricing for Verizon's RAZR MAXX: $199 with a two-year contract and $50 rebate. The MAXX is a step up from the existing RAZR V3m, with a huge external screen and two-megapixel, autofocus camera - but will it be enough to keep Verizon subscribers interested? I wonder.

It might be enough to keep THIS Verizon customer interested. Seriously, my girlfriend just got a RAZR v3m a few weeks ago, and I keep looking around frantically for a phone that will suit my needs in a year or so, and all of Verizon's offerings are just too low end for me. This, on the other hand, might make me willing to trave in my v3c for a newer RAZR. I don't mind my v3c at all, and would love a beefier version.

Is the RAZR v3m compatible with Windows 5.0? I'm wondering, because I want to be able to use my digital music from Mercora wirelessly, and so far, I don't think you can do that with the RAZR.

it sounds like they didn't do much to improve the battery life, though, which is a bummer. that's always been my biggest complaint with my v3c.
