Like Lance Ulanoff, our resident Robot fanatic I too can't get enough of robots! The Japanese company RayTron has developed a voice-recognition robot named Chapit. Digital World Tokyo writes that with a spoken command, the robot can change TV channels, dim the lights, even set up a video calls. Wow, this guy would come in handy for testing in our labs!
In order for Chapit to perform these commands, you need to connect it to your electronics. By next year, Raytron expects Chapit to recognize up to 10,000 words in time for market. But, don't count on this droid reaching U.S. soil. Man, we always get shafted!!
