It seems that every industry has been trying to squeeze a few more dollars from us just to use everyday amenities. One luxury that we seemingly took for granted all these years is the ability to plug in our laptops for free at airports. BoingBoing recently spotted $2-per-use electrical outlets at the Dallas-Fort Worth airport in what can only be an attempt to further tear down the already distraught laptop-carrying business traveler. Apparently, frequent flight delays, rising costs, cramped seating, bad airline food and even worse in-flight movies aren't enough to warrant free power outlets.

Maybe Jet Blue should have included a clause for free power outlets in their recent Customer Bill of Rights. Thankfully, as far as I know no airport is charging for toilet paper...yet. [via Gizmodo]
