Jacob Mathew stereo stilettos

I never understood how ladies can walk around in incredibly high heels--it's one of those mysteries that I don't think I'll ever be able to unravel without donning a pair myself, and they look far too painful for that. Instead, I like the idea that designer Jacob Mathew has: Turn those designer stilettos into a pair of speakers for some flat-footed rocking out. He even took one of those incredibly small purses that I see on the street and turned it into a subwoofer for impressive bass.

The speaker stilettos are a concept design, of course, so don't expect to see them on store shelves anytime soon. And while reportedly they work, Mathew hasn't disclosed what kind of speakers are in the stilettos. Still, it's pretty cool seeing everyday objects turned into high-tech gadgets.
