Wii Skins

Remember when The Nintendo Wii was the Nintendo Revolution, and Nintendo was promising that when it was available, we would see it in several different colors, from red to green to black? And remember when Nintendo said that the controllers would be available in different colors to match the Wii of your choice? Well, I remember, and Nintendo has yet to deliver on that particular promise. Even so, the Nintendo Wii is an amazing console, and for a lot of gamers, waiting to have it in black simply isn't an option. So DecalGirl came to the rescue with a line of Wii skins that you can apply to your Wii to spice up that boring old iPod white.

From anime girls to camouflage, various colors of lightening to a retro NES look, and even a green circular pattern that looks suspiciously like the front of an XBox 360, there are 146 different Wii Skins to choose from, sorted by color family so you can choose a skin that matches your entertainment center, or makes a bold statement about yourself. The skins were specially designed to cover the entire Wii and to keep the gaps between the decals on different sides of the console as small as possible, and can be easily removed without leaving a lot of residue behind should your tastes change and you want to apply a new skin. Each skin is $14.99, and matching skin sets for the Wiimote/Nunchuk combo and the Classic Wii controller can be added to your order at an additional cost. [via ShinyShiny]

Pretty cool,

I got my skins from http://www.pimpmywii.com - no problem sticking them on since the material is resitant to air bubbles. Haven't tried decalgirl yet - might get one for the 360!
