First, I find out that playing video games could help me see better, and now it looks like I may have found a way to burn even more calories when having a heated Wii Tennis match. The prototype Wii Weights one blogger thought up would presumably range from one to four pounds and give your arms a serious workout if donned during the active sessions that normally accompany playing the Wii. While these weights aren't a marvel of modern technology-just a standard wrist weight coated in white with the Wii logo on it-it is a novel marketing concept.
Has this electronic medium finally garnered enough clout to rise above the health stigmas normally associated with playing video games? Probably not, but at least your Mii can look in a mirror and be proud of the chiseled physic looking back (at least in one arm). [via Engadget]
