The old school gamer in me cheered the instant I saw these coat hangers. I absolutely need to have them on my wall. The brain child of designer Felipe Morales, the Hang and Play hangers are essentially old two-button Atari controllers mounted in red plastic and attached to the wall. Keep the joysticks from moving around, and its perfect. But for now, the Hang and Play hangers are purely a design concept, so don't pull out your wallet quite yet.

If you really like the idea, though, I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult to replicate--a few trips to local thrift stores or some weekend garage-sale shopping may turn up the Atari controllers, and with a little work, you could have your own homage to your gaming roots to hang your hat on at the end of a long day. In the meantime though, I do appreciate Morales' eye for beauty.
