I needed another iPod like a bad standup comic needs another horrid joke, but I caved in and picked up the second generation iPod shuffle; new colors and all. But now that I own a ridiculously small shuffle I'm faced with the concern that I may lose it, break it, or worse yet, accidentally swallow it with a helping of Lucky Charms cereal. The DLO Action Jacket for the new iPod shuffle struck me as a worthwhile case to protect, display, and not ingest my tiny new toy.
The new iPod shuffle is designed to be clipped onto things for ease of use and accessibility but I'm always paranoid that it'll fall off. However, the armband that is standard with all Action Jacket cases is sure to keep my music player where I want it. The other feature is the brilliant white design that promotes contrast with the colors the shuffle is now shipping out with. I often lament hiding a beautifully designed device in a protective case, so it's nice that the iPod shuffle colors compliment the polyurethane-coated neoprene case. DLO's Action Jacket for the iPod shuffle sells for $19.99.
