if you can't bear the thought of leaving your beloved video games at home, you might soon have a traveling entertainment system at your disposal. At the 2006 San Diego International Auto Show last week, Suzuki unveiled the SXBox. This Xbox on wheels is part of the automaker's "Suzuki LIVE Series" line of concept cars, to be marketed to various realms of enthusiasts.
The SXBox is based on the 2007 SX4 and has a Microsoft Xbox 360 integrated into the dashboard, with a steering wheel-mounted control. The vehicle with a roof-mounted digital projection system to display games or watch HD DVD movies on the interior of the car's retractable hood. A second console is connected to two separate LCDs in the seat backs for gamers riding in the back, and a retractable 30-inch rear projection screen is located in the trunk, if you're in the mood for some tailgating competition.
With four wireless controllers, force-feedback front seats, and a 2,000-watt multi-speaker surround sound system, this hatchback would provide a gaming atmosphere that trounces those in most living rooms.
