If you are now the proud owner of the Playstation 3, and have extra money to spend but no new games to spend it on, Nyko has some interesting accessories with which to compliment your new console. There are those though, like myself, who actually prefer the rumble feature that can only be found in the original Dual Shock 2 controller (the SIXAXIS went the route of hastily added motion sensing instead). The solution to this comes in the form of the Play Adapter, which allows you to use your Playstation 2 accessories on your PS3. This includes racing wheels and the guitars from Guitar Hero, so you can enjoy last generation gaming on a next generation console, as well as relive that rumbling I miss so much for $14.99.

Audio/video cables and a Bluetooth headset round out the PS3 accessories and the cables are perhaps the most necessary of the bunch. For those with HDMI-enabled televisions, opening the Playstation 3 for the first time may have been a disappointing experience since the console ships without HDMI cables. You can usually tell how successful a console is by how much space on the retail wall is dedicated to acces, and the Playstation 3 is certainly not lacking in options. So far, only the HDMI cables seem to be available on the Nyko website, but hopefully the rest of the lineup will soon be made available to fulfill any gamer's accessory desires.
