UPDATE: Here's a link to the PCMag.com story, "Apple Officially Launches iPhone, Apple TV." It's got some background on the potential trademark conflict with Cisco's recently announced iPhone.
Yep, it's officially official: At Macworld today, Steve Jobs announced the pending reality of the most anticipated mobile phone, probably ever. Our buds over at Engadget were there to hear it and wrote up the specs "11.6 millimeter device (that's frickin' thin, by the way)... a 3.5-inch wide touchscreen display with multi-touch support, 2 megapixel cam, 8 GB of storage, Bluetooth with EDR, WiFi, and quadband GSM radio with EDGE -- and amazingly, it somehow runs OS X."

Finally some elegant, user friendly interface that won't be a "chore" to navigate.
Like Taylor, every picture I see of these new phones makes me want to try one out (and get one).
Once again Apple nails cool factor and brings ease of use to a new level.
I wonder when others will update their interface to stay in the game.
