dragonflyfly.jpg Dragonfly is fast becoming the hottest unannounced product on the net. Robosapien manufacturer Wow Wee! Robotics still isn't talking about the flying toy, but now gadget mag T3 has unearthed video of the new buzz-worthy product in action. It looks like it uses a controller similar in shape to other Wow Wee toy robots, but this one houses a radio transmitter to control the turning, ascent and decent of the green and white Dragonfly. T3 calls it "The best flying robot we've ever seen." I remain unconvinced that it's a robot at all. Wow Wee? Well they're not saying anything.

I'm really surprised very few people in the blogosphere are playing up the fact it was based on a design by a high school student named Sean Frawley, who now is a consultant for WowWee. I think it makes a great story! You can read more about him and also see an extra video of the Flytech Dragonfly here:

In the extra video, pay attention to the other robots in the WowWee showroom and you will see a giant Roboraptor and a panda bear too!

I would guess it's not announced yet because they're trying to figure out how to avoid trademark trouble with the DraganFly folks:
