Imagine if you could control your car like you control your TV. What if literally every electronic function of your car could be activated, tweaked, or turned off with the push of a button on your cell phone? That's what the Connect2Car package promises you can do.
Using their Multi-Function Controller and their SoftDash software, any
bluetooth enabled device, from a phone to a laptop, can become a remote for your car, allowing you to start your car remotely, lock or unlock your doors, roll up or down your windows, even turn on and off you stereo, lights, and more. The Connect2Car kit is compatible with a host of bluetooth devices, and can even be connected to your computer or phone via serial cable or USB. Once the Multi-Function Controller is installed in your car and the SoftDash application installed on your phone, PDA, or computer, you can have all of the features of a professionally installed kit for a fraction of the price. When I searched for dealers in my area, I found one willing to sell the MFC with bluetooth for $399.99.
Along with the ability to control any powered accessory or feature in your car, the Connect2Car kit also allows you to arm and trigger your car alarm remotely, or if you have a computer inside your car, control literally every function from the on-screen dashboard. The software controls are fully customizable, so you can add pictures of your specific car, program features that are specific to your car, and more. The manufacturers claim that the kit is compatible with any vehicle and that installation is a snap, but when working with that kind of wiring, I would seek out the help of a professional, or at least a friend who knows what they're doing.

That's hot! I've been looking for something for a long time. I just went to their site and bought two MFC V2 units, this way I reduce the alarm remote clutter on keychain.
