Okay, okay, maybe Apple is indeed releasing an iPhone in January. (The Magic 8-Ball says "all signs point to yes.") But I had some serious fun creating my own in this month's PC Magazine, by hacking a Motorola SLVR to remove the Cingular logo, change the desktop theme, kill the iTunes 100-song limit and more.
Motorola phones are very hackable; a few months ago, our PJ Jacobowitz showed how to wipe some of Verizon Wireless's more annoying 'features' off of a Motorola RAZR V3c. Want to see more of this sort of coverage in PC Mag? Tell us in the comments. The phone hacking rabbit hole goes pretty deep, but you can start your own investigations on sites like HowardForums.com.

This is great information so if you know this can you tell me how to get more memory on the low 5MB Motorola RAZR V3 Black please. Surely there is a hack for that if so i would really appreciate it. Hope to here from you soon.

Sorry. The original RAZR V3 has no memory card slot - there's literally no physical place to add the memory. In theory, someone could take the entire phone apart, desolder the RAM chips from the main circuit board, and attach new ones, but I've never heard of that level of hardware hacking going on.

Sounds like a lot of work just to add some memory. :) No doubt in the future with all the new bandwidth and content coming down the pike there will be a need for ample storage space, even on the slim RAZR. Soon enough big will be the new small.
