Santa is an awesome guy who often brings me sweaters, socks, and more socks as Christmas presents and seems to forget all the gadgets and gizmos I asked for (doesn't my mom ever give him my wish list?). So normally I end up taking care of my own technological needs with gifts cards. This year was special though, and as I opened what looked to be another bundle of socks I found a Superman alarm clock instead!

Getting out of bed in the morning is no easy feat for me, but now I wake up refreshed to the Superman theme song. The inspirational John Williams score plays loudly on my new AM/FM clock radio and if I feel I need more rest before I head out into Metropolis I can just smack the giant "S" symbol that doubles as the snooze button. Of course, it also comes with a traditional alarm sound if epic theme music isn't your cup of tea in the morning. The Superman alarm clock can also project the time and Superman symbol onto the wall or ceiling (I had fun teasing my cat with this feature). It takes a 9V battery for backup purposes as well.

My love for all things Superman knows no bounds (my Superman pajamas can verify that) but this is actually one of the better themed alarm clocks I've owned. It seems to be out of stock at the BestBuy website, but after getting one for $19.99, "you'll believe a man can fly"...or at least get up in the morning.
