I never wished for a pony growing up (I went straight for the car), but apparently any child can have a pony, right in the comfort of their own bedrooms, with Hasbro's Furreal Friends Pony named Butterscotch. She's a battery-operated pony that stands over 3 feet tall and interacts with a simple touch. (umm, this would have freaked me out as a kid!) Touch her ears and she'll wiggle them; touch her mane and watch her head move; make her mad and she'll whine and snort at you! She even goes so far as to sniff your hand, which could mean that she's looking for a bite to eat.
Butterscotch Pony comes with a carrot, brush, halter and special adoption certificate. She requires 6 D batteries to operate (not included). She's sold out at a bunch of places, but I was able to find her in stock at HutShop.com for $449 and a whopping $545 at Amazon.com.

WH, I have always wanted a pony! (I still want a pony... hint, hint.) I got to see an early iteration of Butterscotch, and I can tell you that I would have killed for this toy when I was growing up... or at least I'd have thrown a hella tantrum.

I saw one of these at Target, oddly enough...
it's kinda scary, but really cool at the same time!
