My couch is a little far from the TV, so when I fire up my XBox or my PS2, the controller cable is just a little too short to allow me to relax on the couch and get my game on. I usually wind up on the floor in front of the TV with the controller in my hands, but the Pyramat Sound Rocker might be the perfect solution to my problem.

The Sound Rocker is a game chair, meaning it sits on the floor and stays upright when you're not sitting in it, and when you do sit it rocks back and forth like a rocking chair. The feature that makes the Sound Rocker stand out from the competition, however, are the built-in speakers and the subwoofer in the seat that push out sound that rumbles through your body, wirelessly. The rocker itself plugs into any standard outlet for power, but that's the only connection it needs. The Sound Rocker comes with a transmitter that's compatible with the Sony PlayStation 2, Sony PlayStation 3, XBox 360, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo DS, and the Sony PSP. When the Sound Rocker is connected it sends the sound from your system to the Sound Rocker from up to 25 feet away.

You can buy the Pyramat Sound Rocker with Wireless 2.4GHz Transmitter from The Sharper Image for $199.95.
