The Nintendo Wii's wireless gyroscopic controller, which you can swing to simulate a baseball bat, golf club, and so on, is great fun. That is, until someone gets hurt. Someone being your TV screen!

Seems that some overenthusiastic gamers are whipping their controllers around a bit too hard; straps are breaking, remotes go flying, and crack goes the screen. At new site Wii Have a Problem, you'll see several stories of Wii woe.

Remember: It's only a game. Hang on to those controllers a bit tighter, kids.

I think today's Penny Arcade has it down when it comes to this:

I think that it may be a good idea to put a strip of velcro on the remotes then wear a glove with the other side of the velcro while playing.

This makes me wonder how heavy those controllers are, to create such havoc with the Television screen!

The Wii-mote isn't heavy at all. I got a Wii, yay me, and I've played Wii sports and call of duty 3,which is a blast. I heard of people getting sore from playing the Wii, But I can only assume that they are just using way too much body motion, then necessary. I mean I can play Call if Duty in bed while my Girl Freind is asleep and not wake her up, Move your wrist not your whole body. But With every new game and every new system, poeple just need to learn the buttons and the controlls(in this case motions), and then they will so see that you Don't have to throw your controller at the the TV to get the some resolutes as a simple twitch.

This is my first post ever, I hope it helps you all, and looks ok. If anyones has any questions, I've been keeping up with the Wii news that people have been posting.
