Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do. This is something I'm always reminded of when I make a wrong turn, but I wouldn't need to remember if I had a reliable GPS device. Among the latest units to help get you where you're going is the Axion Geo-632 ($349.99 list), a portable navigation system with a 3.5-inch color touchscreen that offers road data in 2D, 3D or pan viewing modes, with visual and auditory cues for your next turn.
Voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation makes it pretty hard for you to get lost. Should you miss a turn, however, an automatic reroute will kick in and make sure to get you back on track. The Geo-632 is loaded with a point-of-interest database that includes gas stations, banks, hotels, and restaurants, and an SD card slot allows for new maps and software updates. And in addition to helping direct you, the device also doubles as an MP3 player and JPEG photo viewer. I suggest waiting until you get to your destination to try the latter option.

How good is the Axion Geo-632? I do not thing a fair comparison to the Garmin Zumo costing way more, but is waterproof and good for motorcycles as well as cars. How fast is the Axion? and how good is the mapping software? please send mail to me at: gadget2@mindspring.com thank you
