When I was kid I loved play phones; of course, mine was a yellow rotary landline phone with a curly cord. Today's baby doesn't want to be bogged down by wires and long-distance charges. They want to be free to makes calls on the fly! That's where the Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Learning Phone comes in. With it, baby can "press buttons to call up the fun." They can learn letters and numbers, which appear when pressed on the phone's display. It rings and makes other sounds too. Hours of drooly fun for baby.
But we all know what baby really wants. Your phone! And now there's a way to share your cellphone with your child, without having to worry about them erasing all your contacts or making awkward phone calls. The Mobile Baby Toy is software the you can install on certain Series 60-based phones, which are listed on their site. The software basically takes over your phone, and when baby presses buttons, images appear on the screen, or funny sounds are made (see images after jump). When baby (or you) has had enough, you can switch it off and resume using your phone as always. We may actually try this one out ourselves, with one of Gearlog's many babies, so stay tuned for a review.
