With the New York City Marathon hitting the streets on Sunday, we've got running on our minds. And of course, we can't go anywhere without our gadgets. Blogging Molly comes from a family of runners too--my dad used to jog at least 5 miles a day, my brother Sean is a frequent triathalon-er and a one-time NYC marathon participant in 1997. (His time: 3:56:02) Another brother of mine took on the Bay to Breakers in San Francisco--I can barely stand to walk those hills!
Anyway, over on PCMag.com, we've got a great roundup of gadgets to take on your run, including the nano and the Nike + iPod Sport Kit, some cool fitness software. We also threw in a pair of Bluetooth headphones--the Plantronics Pulsar 590A, which stirred up quite a debate. Would anyone really jog with those big cans? Reviews Editor Brian Bennett would, and cell-phone maven Sascha Segan loves them, but he "cannot conceive of jogging" in the first place. Dan Costa and Blogging Molly are a bit skeptical, but they do actually look smaller in person. . . Check out our runaway roundup for more.
