What were the most popular product categories searched for and bought at PriceGrabber.com on Black Friday? Digital cameras rang in at number one, followed by plasma & LCD TVs and MP3 players. Forrester Research predicts that this year's total online holiday sales will reach $27 billion in the United States.

Given some of the media coverage of the stores on Black Friday, people pushing and shoving and beating the snot out of one another, I gleefully stayed home. Can you believe so many stores opened at midnight and in the wee hours to record crowds?
Personally, I'll gladly shop online. Let my goodies come to me, and spare the nonsense while I'm at it.
They're starting to call today "Cyber Monday" because the online shopping season really begins today. Remind me to start my online shopping tomorrow. :p
