Trying to pregnant, but can't seem to get the timing right? Well, this new "paisley pink" phone from Japanese company DoCoMo
gives a whole new meaning to the booty call. Basically, a woman inputs data about her menstrual cycle into the phone, and when the time is ripe, er, when she is at her most fertile, the phone will send her an alert. (Giving her a few days notice, a nice touch.)
Other features include a recipe database (for the wooing part I guess) and a button you can press when you need to fake an incoming call. (All cell phones should have that!) So basically, this phone really puts the woman in control--she knows when she's fertile, and she can use the fake call button to replace the headache excuse when she's not in the mood. In other news: a recent study links cellphone use with male infertility, so potential fathers should probably keep their conversations short.

Maybe it's TMI? But there's a website (http://www.mymonthlycycles.com) where you can set up a similar sort of thing, with email notifications for all variety of lady-based things. No recipes, though.

Seen a ton of these rhythm predictors, and their effectiveness leaves a lot to be desired vs. modern NFP methods that actually measure fertility as it happens. But hey the phone is a cool color.
