Here's the description of the USB Memory Stick by Guido Ooms on Thorsten Van Elten's site:
"It's a stick with memory.
USB memory stick available in 256MB, 512MB or 1GB.
Please note that each stick is different."
With all the hyperbolic copy I have to wade through every day, I almost hate to add anything to that minimalist, almost-haiku pearl. But I must; these are just so cool! What a great mix of high-tech and no-tech. And how appropriate for Gearlog... get it? GearLOG. OK, I need some coffee.
The wooden USB keys range from £45.00 to £69.00 (about $93 to $131, at least today).
Thanks to PC Magazine's assistant art director Aaron Able for the tip!

I don't think I would ever, EVER buy one of these. Although I KNOW I'd get it for someone else as a "useful" gag gift. They'd have to use it, and then it'd be hilarious to go see them with a stick poking out of their computer!
On another note, I feel awful that it took me way too long to get the "GearLOG" gag. I think it's me who needs more coffee....

There's no use barking about it, this drive will run rings around my old ones. I guess I'll have to leaf my old jump drives and branch out with these new ones. Nothing like putting out new roots to keep you from feeling like your stuck out on a limb. I won't have to worry about virus's anymore, but what about dry rot and termites?

Adds a whole new definition to memory stick!
