As an official intern at PC Magazine, I really should be more adept at making and getting coffee, but they have me doing real work instead. So I bring you the Nespresso Le Cube, a modern coffee maker with a retro design. The Le Cube makes for a great holiday gift for that espresso enthusiast with a love of minimalist design.
Nespresso Le Cube comes in two models: the Model C180, in Artic White with a glossy transparent finish, and the Model C185, in Titan Grey (in anodized aluminum). They sell for $299 and $349, respectively. Features include a backlight indicating a full capsule container, cup warming plates, and vertical positioning of the drip grid for latte macchiato preparation. The downside is that this machine only uses capsules and not any other ground espresso, but their Web site states that up to 12 different premium blends are available.
You can obtain a Le Cube (and subsequent caffeinated buzz), at nespresso.com.

Very nice-I gotta say, I'd absolutely love an espresso maker. It also looks small enough to keep at a certain intern's cubicle if they were so inclined! ;)
Still, are all espresso machines so pricey? I suppose its the price you pay for fancy coffee, and the fact that it takes capsules is kind of lame, but it's definitely attractive.
