In yet another example of how kids these days have it so much better than we grownups did, Kideo is offering personalized children's videos. Children don't just watch cartoons such as Dora the Explore, and the Care Bears but actually become part of them: Their faces are digitally incorporated into the video and their names are repeated throughout the cartoon.

Ordering a personalized VHS or DVD is simple. Just pick out a product from the available cartoons and mail or e-mail a photo of the child. The child's face is then grafted onto the body of a character in the cartoon. The package even comes with the child's name on it.

Kideo's Personalized Children's Videos cost $39.99, and they make for a great gift this holiday season. If the company ever gets around to adding the Transformers to its list of cartoons, you can bet there's going to be a video of me as Optimus Prime at my house.
