If you're tired of the boring (and cheap) ear buds that Apple packages with new iPods, you might want to consider the elegant V-Moda Vibe Modaphones.

The Vibe modaphones are one good looking set of earbuds. The premium alloy metal is sculpted by V-Moda's very own metal experts so they fit perfectly into any sized ear canal, and are shaped in such a way that your bass and treble will sound about as rich as they can. This rich sound is created by V-Moda's very own "sculptured sound curve" where the curve is so straight, no bass roll-off occurs and a gentle drop-off in the high range assures that nothing sounds too harsh. The modaphones come in three sizes (small, medium or large), so people with any size ears can enjoy the amazing quality these slick-looking earphones put out.

When you're in a noisy area, it sometimes gets hard to hear your music when you use generic earbuds. But when you insert the Vibe modaphones into your ears, no such loss occurs because they sport Bass Level Isolating Soft Silicon (BLISS) that reduces noise and enables deep bass. And unlike comparable noise-cancelling headphones, the modaphones don't add any artificial sound to your music.

V-Moda also throws in a gold leather pouch, a modawrap to keep all of those cables in order, and a VIP card to access its V-Moda modcasts, music and gear. The modaphones are the lightest on the market weighing in at 12 grams, and come with a one-year replacement warranty. They are compatible with any device that has a headphone jack, and come in black or chrome.

If you want the best in earbud sound quality, and you don't mind paying $101 for a pair, the V-Moda Vibe modaphones are the best bang for your buck.

Impressive! Still, $101 bucks for a set of earbuds is quite a bit, even with a gold leather pouch and all. ;) Still, if they sound great, that price could be right. Considering how much people pay for Shure other such brands, this could make a nice mid-contender.

Me? I'll still stick to cheaper earbuds-I wreck mine too much to blow that much money on em. iLounge has a great guide on buying earbuds, depending on the price range you're looking for. :)
