While LCD adoption has been going strong, many gamers have avoided flat panel monitors, especially in larger sizes because of slow response time. But now you can get your game on with BenQ's FP241W 24-inch widescreen display, which offers an HDMI interface and a 6ms gray-to-gray response time and 5GB data transfer rate. This means that the monitor can handle fast action games on the PC, Xbox 360 or even the PlayStation 3.
While pricey at $1099, this monitor features a 1920-by-1200 native pixel resolution for HDTV programming, supports the latest advanced display functions such as translucent windows, and vertical to horizontal rotation for portrait or landscape viewing. It might not change your view of the world, but this monitor could easily change the view on your desktop.

Ack! 6ms grey-to-grey, huh? Is that the measurement that counts(I'm not sure, actually-when manfuacturers mention their response times, are they saying their grey-to-grey?)? You're right though-it is awfully pricey, when the Dell 2407FPW can be snagged for less than 700, and less than 500 if you can find a bargain. At the same time, the rated response time for it is something like 8ms, so I suppose you pay for that extra oomph.
Still, I love my pair of Dell 2001FPs; their 8ms response time is hardly noticeable in the games that I play!
