Enthusiasts of both technology and cars can combine their passions, with the new Dodge PC Rides from Propel Innovations. It's a 21-inch desktop PC styled after the Dodge Magnum, Charger, or Viper SRT10. The PC Ride will come with special features so owners can customize: an adjustable chassis for interchangeable bodies, name-brand rims and rubber tires, and grumbling HEMI engine sound effects when you start up. The CD tray will extend from the car's grille, and its computer connectors fit into the rear bumper.

On the computing side of things, the Dodge PC Rides packs as much power as you'd expect from a high-level PC: Intel Core Duo Processors, up to 4GB of RAM, one firewall and 6 USB ports, an optional CD/DVD burner, and a 10,000-rpm hard drive with up to 1 terabyte of storage. The Dodge PC Rides will be compatible with Microsoft Windows XP Home, XP Pro, and XP Media Center.

This styling PC should go on sale in late 2006, at a retail price of about $1,500 (not including a monitor, a keyboard, or accessories.) You'll be able to buy one at Propel Innovations' Web site.
