Keyboard Food TraySometimes when it's a hectic day at the office, there's no time to run out and enjoy your lunch. On those days, I'll be sitting at my desk scarfing down a ham and cheese sandwich or leftovers from the night before. I don't know how many times I'll try to save a crumb from entering those tiny cracks in my keyboard. And even when I do, one gets in there anyway.

I think that's why Korean designer Duck Young Kong dreamed up the Keyboard Food Tray. Just place it on top of your keyboard and you can chomp away without worrying about collecting crumbs.

But, my Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 is rather large and takes up most of the space on my keyboard tray. So, this concept would have to be designed to accommodate all keyboard sizes. I don't think I'd like the built-in cup holder and sandwich holder though, because you're only limited to those types of things on the tray.

Still, I bet lots of people would buy this if it's ever manufactured (as long as they're not accident prone).

... and as soon as you get that distracting phone call and jerk your hand away in haste to grab the received, everything on top goes flying across your desk... hmmmm

Remember all those cigarette girls from early last century? How about a tray you wear from a strap around your neck just like theirs? You could even integrate a bib into it, so you'd never drop food on the keyboard or on your clothes. Hey, if you use this idea, I want royalties. Okay, so you'd look like a doofus while wearing it, but you can't tell me that this thing looks any better. Cigars, cigarettes! Cigars, cigarettes!

OK, wse already work in bad postures with a non-ergonomic setup as you can see in the picture. And now we don't even have to get up anymore to eat. How bad can it get? PLEASE: take mini-breaks, walk around, and stretch! Don't it at your desk!
