Zipper Pull Watch & White LightI told you I wasn't going to stop bringing you more summer gadgets!

It's so funny that I came across this product on Ubergizmo, because just the other day I was looking for a small watch I could take with me to the beach. I'm not about to bring my nice watch and chance getting it wet!

Made by Hog Wild, this Zipper Pull Watch & White Light not only displays the time, but also sports a flashlight on the end. Just twist it to turn on the white light. It comes in four colors and is waterproof! You can attach it to backpacks, zippers, purses, really anything.

The Zipper Pull Watch & White Light sells for $9.95.

Or if you prefer something a bit more flashy, Hog Wild also sells the Zipper Pull Watch with Flashing Lights for $9.95.

Why would someone buy a "nice watch" that you can't get wet? Doesn't look like you can get this thing wet either...

Er..plenty of people have nice watches that aren't really waterproof...not everyone wears a sport watch, you know! :) Personally, I have a watch that I wear for formal affairs that's silver and looks very nice, but I wouldn't want it to get scratched by wet sand or get water under the face; that's just spelling disaster. Admittedly, I got mine cheap, but a lot of people have expensive watches they've never wear to the beach, and Jennifer might have a watch herself that might double as jewelry, so you can see it makes sense to not take something valuable somewhere it could be lost or seriously damaged. I like this little product; especially the LED light-it makes a really nice addition.

You're right, Phoenix. My watch indeed doubles as jewelry. Plus, my boyfriend gave it to me, and if I got it wet, I don't think he'd be too happy! I dig the LED light too. It would come in handy for trying to find things that are stashed at the bottom of my purse!
