I just finished listening to this week's, and I'm sold. :) I'm surprised to hear that you guys didn't particularly care for the OQO, I've been hearing such positive things about it, even if personally I thought it was just kind of a glorified PDA. Also, with regard to Sascha's comment about the phones playing the Black Eyed Peas; I sincerely hope not. :( I'm so tired of BEP ringtones. :( I thought your breakdown of the cable bandiwidth issue was a good one, and helped me get a grasp of the problem-although I have to admit, something tells me that cable companies are a little more likely to toss our the cable card than to make sure everyone has a digital settop box; from my experience(which certainly isn't exclusive) most people have one digital box and several other cable-ready TVs in their other rooms, especially since companies like Comcast and such charge additional fees for extra digital settop boxes. I'm curious which way they'll wind up going in order to save bandwidth as well.

Love the show, and it was interesting to hear that the source of Apple/Blackberry blogosphere excitement was sourced to a single analyst's conjecturing. Nonetheless, attributing excitement for the rumor to a craving for an Apple phone? Blackberry is known for their email devices, not phones. I do a lot of freelance network conslting, and there are a ton of small shops that are clamoring for official apple support of blackberry devices. It doesn't exist, but an Apple/Blackberry agreement could answer the pleas of a lot of execs in Apple computer small businesses. I just don't see why anyone would associate Rim with an expectation for an Apple phone. Support of Blackberry's on the Apple pltform is cause enough for excitement.
