Anyone who works with or near PR people can attest that some of those estimable folks exaggerate from time to time. No, really, they do! Even taking that into consideration, though, this release for the Easy Chair Mount seems a tiny bit bit over the top: "New Product to Change Computer Use Forever." A chair mount for an LCD screen? It's a fine idea, and I'm sure it's a fine product, but come on. This isn't really on a par with, say... the Internet, Windows, the floppy disk, or [insert your favorite technology milestone here]. The release goes on to name 14 specs; just "some of the features." Oddly enough, the price is left out. Maybe because the mount and LCD Arm together cost $285.

You're being far too kind! I'll say it for you: Marketing folks know no bounds when it comes to the amount of BS they shovel. :D Seriously-"change computer use forever?!" For crying out loud...it's a VESA BRACKET ON A CHAIR. I mean, perfect for the super lazy (and apparently the rich enough to toss down enough for the bracket to buy a second monitor) but change computing forever? Looking at that image, it doesn't even look like it'll swing out of the way easily if you need to get up! I also loved the customer comment on the site as well: "I play alot of WoW, and spent most of my time in the den. Now, I play in the same room as my family watching TV. -- C. Haus, Denver CO" Okay-the cracks just write themselves on that one. :p
