The laptop bag maker Mobile Edge is partnering with the Boomer Esiason Foundation to help raise funds for cystic fibrosis awareness and research. Ten percent of the sales of the G-Pak backpack (at left) will go toward helping to fight the disease. The bag is named for Boomer's son Gunnar, who has cystic fibrosis. Mobile Edge plans to come out later with a deluxe version of the backpack, as well as a tote version for women. They're made with ballistic nylon and are well padded, to protect your laptop. You will be able to buy the G-Pak in June, for $69.95, at Mobile Edge's site or the Esiason Foundation's site (linked above). You'll earn some good karma points; and the bag's pretty snazzy-looking, too.
