If you missed Part I of my Electronic Winter Essentials, then make sure you go back and read it. For all those that enjoyed reading my list, here's Part II.
6. The CD/DVD/Paper Shredder ($149.95, Hammacher Schlemmer)
What's the perfect thing to do on a rainy, snowy day? Get rid of those old files or storage disks with this tabletop shredder. It cuts through paper, rubber bands, credit cards, floppy disks, CD-ROMs, and DVDs. It's pricey, but well worth the money.
7. CCM Deluxe Skate Slingpack ($39.99, D*ck's Sporting Goods)
This backpack is great for taking your ice skates with you. It features a large side pocket for added storage and includes a cell phone pocket and an accessory pocket with organizer pouches and a CD cable exit hole for listening to tunes. I'd like to own skates one of these days so I can go ice skating at Rockefeller Center!
8. Bell and Howell Hot-n-Go Heated Car Mug ($11.50, Amazon)
Plugs into most 12 volt car cigarette lighters. Made of stainless steel, this 16oz mug is perfect for keeping your coffee, hot cocoa, or tea warm while on-the-go.
9. Peet Portable Boot Dryer ($35.00, LL Bean)
Sometimes leaving your boots near the heater can take hours to dry. That's why this boot dryer would come in handy since it uses thermal convection rather than heat to dry your footwear. All you do is slide each dryer into your boots for dry, warm boots the next day!
10. Vicks V1900 Waterless Vaporizer ($15.99, Amazon)
Since I'm battling a cold, I could definitely use this product. This waterless vaporizer helps open your nasal and sinus passages so you can breathe easier. It comes with five menthol scent pads that are released into the air via heat for up to 8 hours per pad. It doesn't make any noise, so you'll be able to fall fast asleep.
